The Intramail has several special mailboxes that can be used for your company greetings, announcements or group mailboxes. If you are at another employee’s phone and want to access your mailbox you would press Intercom 700 and then dial in your extension number.

NEC has recently released a PRO version of the Intramail that will Email messages from your mailbox directly into your In-Box. The pilot number (like an extension number) of this group is is 700. The ports are grouped together so that if one of the ports is being used a caller will roll-over to the next available voice mail ports. A port allows 1 person access to the voice mail, that person can be leaving a message, listening to a message or listening to the company greeting. The Intramail is available in 4 or 8 ports. The NEC DSX Intramail is both a voice mail and an auto-attendant. The voice mail/auto attendant for the NEC DSX telephone system is the Intramail.
